Casting Call Musical Theatre Company was founded in 2017, and our opening production of Greenday's American Idiot debuted in 2018. With cast members from all over the North East region (Hartlepool, Redcar, Middlesbrough, Stockon-on-Tees, Guisborough, Sunderland, and more) and audiences travelling from as far as Manchester and London, CCMT Company continued their success with RENT in 2019.

To echo our ethos of "arts should be accessible for all", the Company was set up and continues to run on a FREE* basis so that cast and crew can take part no matter their financial background. That means no sign up fees, no audition fees, no rehearsal fees*.

Our Company was due to perform its next production, Disney's High School Musical, in August 2020. This was unfortunately cancelled due to the Covid-19 climate...

*As we are a self-funding company, as part of a Community Interest Company, we kindly ask for a suggested donation of £1-£2 on attended rehearsals to help cover running costs. But, this is completely optional. We do, however, ask a production fee of £10 - this covers costs of dress & tech rehearsals.
